Creedite
Asia
This piece is a wonderful thumbnail sized example of this now exlusive material featuring fine quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, beautiful purple colored prismatic creedite crystals.Creedite is typically found in white/colorless crystals, and even the orange crystals from the Navidad Mine in Mexico are considered exotic in terms of color, but there are two places in the world that have produced some superb PURPLE crystals of Creedite, the Santa Eulalia District in Mexico, and the Akchatau Mine in Kazakhstan. The pieces from Kazakhstan were short-lived on the market in the early 1990s, and then never to be seen again. This piece is a wonderful thumbnail sized example of this now exlusive material featuring fine quality, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, beautiful purple colored prismatic crystals measuring up to 0.6 cm, free of matrix.
