Great beryl crystal with a delicate asparagus-green color. Many of the great Russian gemmmy crystals were mined during czarist times and this is smaller peace from a classic locality for this era (from colection older than 100 years). The crystal is weighing 39.1 grams and it is really rare to have a chance to buy a huge crystal of beryl from Sarapulka (Murzinka) District, Ekaterinburgskaya (Sverdlovskaya) Oblast', Middle Urals, Urals Region, Russia. The crystal is partially gemmy through the interior. The termination is complete and undamaged - with a natural etch pit filled with little stepped facets of termination. I would describe the luster as "silky." There is natural etching on the termination. The beryl crystal has concave area on the prism that may be a contact from an intersecting crystal.
